Mackenzie’s Story

Native to Pennsylvania, this “Keystone Kowgirl” is a 100% self-taught trick roper. At age nine, Mackenzie was inspired after watching someone perform at her local rodeo.

Fast forward to high school, Mackenzie’s ag teacher encouraged her to compete in “FFA Talent”, knowing full well what she was capable of doing. Soon after, Mackenzie was invited to The Rhinestone Roper show to get a taste of performing in front of a crowd.

As a graduation present, she was able to go all the way to Florida to meet World Champion Trick Roper, Trevor Dreher. (pictured below)

From 2019 on, Mackenzie has taken her high-energy act all over the east coast. She has been featured with The Texas Trick Riders, and has even performed alongside the very same person that she watched at nine years old, professional rodeo entertainer, Brinson James, (pictured above) which was a dream come true.

Mackenzie has also been learning and polishing her trick riding skills, when she’s not out on the road. In her free time, Mackenzie is a professional wildlife artist.
